Message	1) If you are just autocrossing, guys have put very large tires, more than I'd ever suggest, on 7 1/2 and 8 1/2" wheels. Your best bet, if you want to stay with stock wheels, would be to source two more TT rear wheels, and run the 16x8.5 all around. I'd suggest a 265 max size, but others will disagree. 2) Depends on your budget! SSR Competitions and Enkei RPF1s in 17x9.5 come to mind, as to custom CCWs and many others. Hoosier approves their 295 tires on a 9.5" wheel. If you are looking for a budget solution, look in the classifieds.
